rode the bike for 80km this weekend, not a long distance by any stretch, but a good starter. had a few climbs.

okay… so i kinda narrowed down the noise – it happens with the 7/8th gear from the biggest one… when the big chain ring is used. noticeable, I suspect it’s probably the chain or something striking the front deraileur.

the other thing is that the bottom bracket tends to grind quite a bit… with a semi-loud crunching noise when climbing up faber. i’m kinda slow at the moment so maybe i’m putting too much force on it.

fingers itchy, loving the set up so far, will get smaller bottles, since I only seem to drink through one at the moment… and please let me be the first customer, if possible when the gokiso bottom bracket for the pressfit 30 ever gets in.

my fingers are itchy, but i’ll look towards getting the front chain rings swapped out to an osymmetric one later in the year. for now, i just want to be consistent and ride every saturday unless i’m traveling for the rest of the year.

honestly, the moots rsl feels like a carbon, climbs like a carbon, descends with stunning confidence and yet there’s that titanium “comfort” and reliability. i am so happy. i’ll send you another pic when the new water bottles get in…
