“Who is CRAZY enough to buy a Gokiso Wheelset.?”
That was in my mind when I heard about the brand Gokiso, in the beginning of the year by a cyclist friend. As a cyclist, I like to buy new parts to upgrade my bicycle so I can go faster or ride longer distance. I bought many things including ceramic bearings, pulleys, bottom brackets, wheelsets and frames. Though they did give some improvement, but I only feel a tiny improvement. NOT ENOUGH I think.
So I went on to buy a Gokiso Climber 38mm from Paul Huang, Bikes n Bites Singapore. After using it for a couple of weeks. The way the hub is built, makes my ride much more comfortable and faster. I can easily ride 100km without straining my legs. In one Strava segment, I managed to beat my personal record by 27 seconds! This is an outstanding result I thought. I am so amazed by the built of the Climber hub and I began to ask myself “What’s next after this venture..?”
Aaah yes… Of course… GOKISO super climber.
