Xentis Disc Wheel Review by Mike Ellis
Xentis Disc Wheel Review
So fair to say that when I first saw a photo of a prototype of Xentis Mark 2 disc I had to have one and put an order in with Paul to make sure when it came on the market I got one of the first ones off the production lines. Paul ensured I got my wish. I had visions of doing tri races and taking off minutes from my overall times as well as having one of the nicest looking rigs out there anchoring my P5.
Did the disc wheel live up to my expectations? In the training rides the bike flew and it was easy enough to hit 50 kph on the flat – holding that speed for more than a couple of km never a realistic option though – but hunkered down – knocking on 40 kph for an hour was becoming a reality.

Cervelo P5 Review by Ben Heckscher
Busan 70.3 was a really tough race and I was very pleased to finish in 3rd place for my Age Group.
The swim was cut short due to poor visibility and rough seas.
The bike was a very difficult course, with seemingly never ending technical corners on wet and undulating roads. The P5 was magic on such a tough course and it enabled me to be among the leaders after the race. The bike was key to my race.

Putrajaya 70.3 Race Report by Andy Lordianto
Hi Paul!
So sorry for the late race report!! But here it goes…
Putrajaya 70.3
Pre Race: Reach KL on Friday evening, feeling very relax about this race. I used to do well in Powerman races in Putrajaya, so I take it like I’m racing in a familiar place.
Everything went well on Saturday, bike has no issue, run leg feel good.
Swim: It was a rolling start, I started at the front, but somehow did not have a good swim, as I was stuck in a slower pack swimmer. I’m thinking is probably those swimmer who did not seed themself properly. But it was ok still, swam at 34 minutes.
Bike: The bike is always the fun part. Love riding on my P5, and this race it is no different. I pretty much ride solo 95% of the time. I saw some familiar faces hammering on the bike, but I just kept to my intended watts and did not want to burn too many mastches in a hot and humid race like Putrajaya 70.3
I have not been riding outside a lot, hence my bike handling is not the best..something which I need to do more often is definitely riding outdoor more..but pretty good time on the bike..went 2hour34mins..
Run: I know I’m probably in top5 in my age group after the bike. The heat was really scorching on the run. Even the great Craig Alexander only ran 1h21min half marathon…that tells you how hot and humid the weather is.
I was just glad that I did not over bike, as I started to catch a lot of people on the run, especially on the 2nd half of the run..even though I was suffering from the heat too. Again, I did not run outdoor as much as I should have, hence the weather really kills me…so next time I go to Putrajaya 70.3, I will definitely do more outdoor bike and run…
Ran a 1h41min half marathon, not my best..but I’ll take it…
Overall got 2nd in my AG. A good early season race for me. Next “A” race is Bintan 70.3, and IM Langkawi..
WIll probably do a few more shorter races before that too…
Regards,
Andy
